Your practice should adapt to your body—not the other way around.
Welcome to the place where this is possible.
Maybe you're tired of...
walking into a class not knowing whether it will help or hurt.
seeing uncertainty on a teacher's face the moment you mention your medical history.
feeling like your laundry list of limitations is too complicated to accommodate in a group class.
trying to keep up with everyone else, even when your body is asking for a slower pace.
modifying every pose on your own and valiantly hoping you're making the right choices.
leaving class feeling discouraged, confused, or more depleted than when you arrived.
If this is you, take a deep breath.
You’re in the right place.
What I believe…
You don't need to be more flexible.
You don't need to "push through."
You don't need to make your body fit the practice.
You need your practice to fit your body.
You need compassionate care that you can trust.
You need a clear, confident path forward.
You absolutely deserve to relieve stress, restore your energy, and build inner resilience.
You absolutely deserve to show up with greater presence, lead with greater integrity, and live with greater inspiration.
Hi, I’m Lisa Ash Drackert
Yoga Medicine® Therapeutic Specialist, Teacher, and Your Expert Guide to Feeling Restored + Resilient
I’m here to make sure you never have to choose between honoring your body and the practice you love.
For years, I taught group yoga classes and watched students try to adapt their bodies to a practice that wasn't designed for them.
I started asking this question:
What if the practice adapted to the person— not the other way around?
After becoming a Yoga Medicine® Therapeutic Specialist, I dedicated my career to studying evidence-based Yoga Therapeutics, anatomy, and the nervous system to better understand how stress, injury, pain, and life experiences shape the way you move.
Today, I use that knowledge to design Yoga Therapeutics practices that fit you—not someone else—so you can better understand your body, move with greater confidence, and build the resilience to keep doing the things you love.
I've never believed there's a "perfect body" for yoga.
I've worked with people recovering from joint replacements, living with progressive neurological conditions, managing spinal scoliosis, navigating chronic pain, and learning to love their body again after life-altering injuries.
Your body is not too complicated.
It deserves to be understood.
And I believe that's where lasting change begins.
Because I don't just want you to get through today's practice.
I want you to leave each practice knowing your body a little better, moving with greater confidence, building lasting resilience, and continuing to do the things you love.
